A simple method of creating robust DNA pyramids with self-assembly by seconds has been invented by a team of scientists from the UK.
Every face of the tetrahedral pyramid it is made up of a double helix of DNA. The pyramids can then be linked together to create new nanostructures on which molecular electronic circuits and nano-containers for drug delivery can be built (Science 310 1661).
