Can the elevator be installed in a Community in the event that complementary works are needed for said installation?
REPLY. The realization of works or the establishment of new common services whose purpose is to eliminate architectural barriers that hinder the access or mobility of people with disabilities and, in any case, the establishment of elevator services, even when they imply the modification of the Constitutive title, or bylaws, will require the favorable vote of the majority of the owners, who, in turn, represent the majority of the participation quotas.
The installation of an elevator is considered as a basic element for the suppression of architectural barriers that favors accessibility.
